Ellipsis

You have let me drown into your music
The tunes of your songs make me dance…
And leave me in the state of oblivion…wandering…nostalgia
Now, your strings are broken, and no voice can come out
Everything is obscure and about to reach its end…
Can I just have one last favor from you?
…Can you please give back my sanity?

Hmmm…yeah, it was the phrase I’ve said. It’s kind of lengthy, vague and so fuzzy. Well, that’s just the way it is and it goes like this.
You and I were bonded by three things. Well, I guess many things, but only three serve to be the highlighted ones, FAITH, PEOPLE and MUSIC.

We were bonded by FAITH. I believe you and I shared same thoughts of clinging to the cross we knew. We share same ideas of and about our loving ABBA, mutually willing to learn more of His words. A servant to the King, a leader to others, a follower of the truth. This seems to be the most binding factor that keeps us holding on to each other… But, I don’t know, was it defeated now?

We were bonded by PEOPLE. You and I shared the same group of friends, I guess so. We basically don’t know each other yet until there’s a common friend that acts as the middle man for us to have a chance to mingle. The gift of friendship then established, within us, within the group. But, let me just checked, are those people already left us? Is the friendship already torn?

We were bonded by MUSIC, our common interest. You play, I sing. I ask you to study this, you’ll do the listening, and I’ll do the uttering. You started to plug in the guitar, and I’ll do the humming of the melody. That’s the tandem, that’s the routine. I used to sing for your, those music you have requested. I sung…you listen…you play…I hear… but, does the music between us already out of tune? And does your instrument already lose its value?

It happened in three significant things… and slowly it’s reaching its dead end. Curtains closing one by one. The clock tick tack almost stops. Are you still willing to save it? If you are, so help us LORD…
